Welcome to Class 8


Welcome to class 8, our teacher is Miss Joyce and our teaching assistants are Mrs Cahill and Miss McCarthy. You can keep up to date with everything that is going on in our class on this page.

 

PE and Games
We have PE on Thursdays and Games on Friday afternoons.

Homework
English - Given out on Mondays and due in the following Monday.

Maths- Given out on Mondays and due in the following Monday.


Home Reading
Children must read at least four times per week.

Spellings
Spellings are given out on Monday and we have a test on Friday.

Class 8 had an archaeologist in today who answered all of our questions about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age!

Class 8 enjoyed making E-Books in computing as part of our multi-media topic!

Year 3 went to the World Museum today. First, we learnt about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. Then, we explored the museum! We had so much fun!

We designed and made healthy wraps in D&T and had a picnic to enjoy and evaluate them!

Class 8 loved being scientists and investigating different types of soil!

Class 8 enjoyed their cooking class again!

We used clay to make sculptures!

We really enjoyed learning about classification with Zoolab yesterday!

We sorted 3d shapes using venn diagrams!

We wrote letters to our friends telling them about the Easter Story.

We made posters about plants in computing so that we can put them onto our blog!

We had so much fun on World Book Day!

It's pancake day! Class 8 enjoyed their delicious pancakes this afternoon!

Well done to all members of Class 8 for winning the attendance for three consencutive weeks last half term! Let's keep up the great work this half term!
